Spread the Word to Avoid Fines

We understand that compliance can be tricky, and oversights happen.

However, SSM is serious about enforcing these regulations, and fines of up to RM50,000 can be imposed.

We urge all companies to take this matter seriously and update their social media pages promptly.

What should you do now?

To facilitate a smoother transition for everyone, we kindly request you to:

  1. Update your official social media pages with your SSM number.
  2. Share this information with fellow businesses to ensure widespread awareness.

Additional Information

For your information, it is advisable to conduct checks on your business premises and ensure that

(i) the business registration certificate is displayed,

(ii) the name and registration number are displayed on signboards, and

(iii) invoices/payment receipts are displayed at each location where business is conducted. This is a requirement under the Act regulated by the SSM.
